Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Affort Racu website at affortracu.pro and enrolling in our courses, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our services and enroll in our courses. By using this website, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
Course Enrollment and Payment
Enrollment Process
When you enroll in a course, you are entering into a binding agreement to purchase the training services described. Upon enrollment:
- You will receive a confirmation email with enrollment details
- Payment must be completed before course access is granted
- Course materials and access credentials will be provided according to the schedule
Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payment is due at the time of enrollment unless alternative arrangements have been made in writing.
We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit and debit cards
- Bank transfers
- Corporate invoicing (for company-sponsored enrollments)
Cancellation and Refund Policy
You may cancel your enrollment and receive a full refund if:
- Cancellation is made more than 14 days before the course start date
- We cancel the course for any reason
Partial refunds may be available at our discretion for cancellations made 7-14 days before the start date. No refunds are provided for cancellations made less than 7 days before the course begins or after the course has started.
Course Participation
Access to Materials
Upon enrollment and payment, you will receive access to:
- Live training sessions (where applicable)
- Self-paced course materials
- Practice labs and sandboxed environments
- Alumni resources and community access
Access to course materials remains available for 12 months after course completion.
Attendance Requirements
For courses with live sessions, attendance at a minimum of 80% of scheduled sessions is required to receive a certificate of completion. Recorded sessions may be available for review but do not replace live attendance requirements.
Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to:
- Treat instructors and fellow students with respect
- Use course materials and lab environments responsibly
- Not share access credentials or course materials with unauthorized individuals
- Comply with all applicable laws and ethical standards
Violation of these standards may result in immediate removal from the course without refund.
Intellectual Property Rights
Our Content
All content on this website and in our courses, including text, graphics, logos, course materials, videos, and software, is the property of Affort Racu or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
- Access and view website content for personal, non-commercial use
- Download and use course materials for your personal learning
- Retain course materials for future reference
Restrictions
You may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display course materials
- Create derivative works from our content
- Use content for commercial purposes without written permission
- Remove copyright or proprietary notices from materials
- Share access credentials or course materials with others
Use of Practice Environments
Our courses include access to sandboxed practice environments. When using these environments:
- Use is restricted to educational purposes only
- Do not attempt to access systems or data outside the designated scope
- Do not use techniques learned for unauthorized access to any systems
- Report any security vulnerabilities you discover in our systems
Misuse of practice environments may result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Ensuring your computer and internet connection meet technical requirements
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Disclaimer of Warranties
Our website and courses are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of content
We do not guarantee specific outcomes from course completion, including job placement, certification, or skill mastery.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Affort Racu shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
- Damages arising from your use or inability to use our services
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific course giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Affort Racu, its instructors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms of Use
- Your misuse of course materials or practice environments
- Your violation of any law or third-party rights
Modifications to Services and Terms
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time
- Update course content to reflect current security practices
- Change these Terms of Use with notice to enrolled students
Material changes will be communicated via email to enrolled students. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
Before initiating formal proceedings, parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy and any enrollment agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Affort Racu regarding your use of our services.
